S355J2+N is the most common high strength steel for construction that we sell. It is a non-alloy structural steel to EN10025-2 2004. With its increase yield strength of S355 MPa over other construction steels such as S275 and S235 it is an excellent choice for delivering critical components or major structural members. It is also the modern equivalent of the EN10025 1990 S355J2G3

S355J2+N Characteristic
S355J2+N is welder-friendly, low carbon, high tensile strength structural steel, can be readily welded to other weldable steel. For its low carbon equivalent, it possesses good cold-forming properties. The plate is produced by fully killed steel process and supplied in a normalized or controlled rolling condition.
S355J2+N Application
Recommended for structural application in freight cars, transmission towers, dump trucks, cranes, trailers, bull dozers, excavators, forestry machines, railway wagons, dolphins, penstocks, pipes, highway bridges, building structures, oil and gas platforms, offshore structures, shipbuilding, power plant, palm oil equipments and machineries, fans, pumps, lifting equipments and port equipments.
